Strip-Out & First Fix

We strip out the existing bathroom and carry out all plumbing and electrical first fix — moving pipes, adding drainage points, and installing electrical circuits in the correct zones before any boarding or tiling begins.

Waterproofing & Tiling

All wet areas are properly tanked before tiling begins. Our tiling team works to the layout agreed at the design stage, ensuring consistent grout lines and perfectly mitered internal corners.

Second Fix & Handover

Sanitaryware, shower enclosures, vanity units, mirrors, heated towel rails, and accessories are all installed and connected. A full snagging check is carried out before handover.

Both options are available. Alternatively, if you prefer to select your own items, we can install sanitaryware and tiles you have purchased yourself. We are happy to advise on specification and compatibility at the design stage either way.

A wet room is a fully waterproofed (tanked) bathroom where the entire floor drains — there is no shower tray and often no screen, though a glass panel may be used to contain splashing. A walk-in shower has an open entry but typically uses a shower tray and a partial or full glass enclosure. Wet rooms are more involved to construct correctly and are particularly suited to accessibility requirements or a very clean, minimal aesthetic. Walk-in showers are more common and typically more cost-effective.

A bathroom renovation within the existing footprint of your home does not require planning permission. If you are converting a bedroom or box room into a new bathroom or en-suite, this also generally falls under exempted development and does not require planning permission.
